Where our dreams sleep in far away Archipelagos
We stood slow till the moon got dizzy and blushed
We breathed before the winds woke up flat waves
We laughed while seagulls howled around midnight
We talked tongue-tied above voice-raising streets
We lay down awake, afraid dreams might die asleep
We could not afford eternal presents
We would not allow reminded regrets
We did not foresee nostalgic futures
They all came to call for dues
You flew to the east of the west
Where the sun dies
I flew to the south of the south
Where the sun dries
And yet, like all homeless birds
We both loved to hear the seagulls cry for midnights
And brighten awake dreams from blue Archipelagos
