That I accept to like
Other things I may like
But I will be unlikely to like

Things that look like me to my dislike
There are things I dislike
That I accept to dislike
Other things I may dislike
That I hate to dislike
Those are things so unlike
Things that can like me as I look like
What if I decided to like
What I was taught not to like
What if I decided to like
What I was not taught to like
I will start with the sound of samba and all the like
All that music that sounds like too much joy to like
I will go on with a woman that is not my kind or like
Made from snippets of skirts and scents I swear to dislike
I will at last learn to embrace all those faiths we rarely like
The spoiled goddesses believers of souls are afraid to like
And then I will die more naked and so unlike
The ones that I was born to look and sound like
This is not to say I am ashamed of all akin and alike
But I try to like to be free from me and all that I may like
