I was late beyond the early start of birth
That body I possess arrived before myself
I had warned those usual mum and dad
I wasn’t ready yet for night or light of day
They explained in deepest echoed breaths
Without a word the happily unborn unlearn
How that future life of mine invents itself
From spaces stuck between the void inside
They said that I would learn along the path
To draw the lines that hide the grand design
Between the pits and gaps
Of molecules of atoms made of inner quarks
Physics says that quarks will die if not in pairs
Charm and strange in lone and odd directions
Shaping all the seventy percent or roughly so
Of baby water molecules that won’t evaporate
They stick together ever fast from distant voids
So the aqua ions besiege the life in licks of liquor
It’s a shame alas to be unable to turn to clouds
And take the shapes of dreams from freer minds
And I am trapped in ninety-nine percent of void
Not a single faithless finger can probe for truth
Though a knife or nail can easily disrupt for real
Tight cohesions born from atoms’ low collusions
Not a thing is even sure about the state of union
I’m afraid of just observing atoms gathered here
I could misinterpret the mistakes of measurement
As I would track the X and P of the vicinity of me
Therefore I evade the obvious evidence of living
Never certain where reality expects to find itself
I was born from doubtless faiths of saintly souls
To suffer stats of presence lost in voids of atoms
Start a truce to end obligatory appeals to be alive
It’s the way of dreams to live a life that’s not in me
Bodies lack the density for verities from revelations
Allowing all along the soul to bear the curse of birth
