Such a foolish and weirdest whim has come of late to me for public outcry
You just approve of the prime of the pronouns commanding a capital character
The English spelling gives the self of man a status higher still than God and sky
He believes in such a creed as styling the bigger font that’s worth his pronoun
That tallest letter hence assumes a man’s existence in one and only word or lie
She who gave a mother’s tongue to him intended words for prayers more sincere
And collections of verses and verities stronger than vanity shining in anyone’s eye
It seems alas the pride of man can grow beyond the greed allowed to him to live
Arrogance, ever obtrusive, obscures the aesthetics of alphabets turning so sly
We’ve been trained inside the brains to not restrain this craze to praise ourselves
It’s a heresy though to admire and adore the example of a man as a hero to deify
You and the one that is me should acknowledge the plague that’s the glory of self
But people, as me, accept to bow and bend before their inner bags of bullshit, fresh or dry
They build a letter tall as Babel towers raising human hubris high above their mental health
