Speak few words, speak true words,
Say all the beads, pray one creed.
Any word spoken is a pledge taken,
Hush lame claims, deeds will speak.
Spurn vain verses, learn plain lines,
Laundry psalms dressing hungry souls.
True words lie on the others’ tongues,
Fond faith we hide they hail in songs.

Here is a collection of some of the poems I have written over more than fifteen years. They were originally composed in the languages they are published in here and are not translations. I am not a professional writer but a dilettante interested in poetry and foreign languages, my native tongue being French. (Reunion Island, 2025).
